Day 19: Candy canes.

Listen guys, I’m not gonna lie. I was too preoccupied today to look at today’s challenge bequest, so I don’t have any pictures of candy canes – which is cool cause I don’t have candy canes in my life anyway, so.

However, I do have some¬†magnificent¬†Christmas photos of myself, Alyza, and our friend Neil. Here’s everyone’s favorite:

You’re welcome.

Day 17: Presents!

I totally took a picture for today.

Here’s part of my present pile for people.

In other news, I really like this song, Birthday Cake, and I always get super excited when it comes on while I’m working out. The original is actually really short cause Rihanna didn’t finish it. This is the prolonged remix featuring Chris Brown. Yisss.

Day 16: Outside Christmas lights.

We do not have outside Christmas lights at my house, and I most certainly do not have any pictures of any outside lights (yet anyway) because as I’ve mentioned before, I don’t check the list for this challenge before it’s time to do the night’s post. Thankfully, I have finally taken a picture of the challenge, with half of it left to go, so that in the coming days, I’ll make sure to adhere to it as best as I can.

So anyway, I don’t have any pictures of lights, but I do have a picture of myself from earlier today while I was getting ready for the gym.

I was beyond excited and super happy this morning when I got on the scale for my weigh in. If you’ve been following this blog, you might know by now that I’ve been working hard to change my lifestyle and lose weight with the help of WeightWatchers. This past week I decided that I have a short term goal: to get under 200 lbs by the end of this year. As of today, I have 3.9 lbs until I’m at least 199.9 lbs. I think that’s doable in the next two weeks if I work really hard and eat clean and stay committed.

I am extremely proud of myself for the dedication and perseverance I put in to get to the point that I am at now. I know I need to improve in many ways, but that’s what time is for.

For now, here’s a picture I would never have taken a year ago.

Nobody gets you there but yourself. Every little achievement is a battle won in the long run.

And This is Why I Don’t Shop at Loehmann’s

I’m blogging from my phone tonight, which means I have no idea what the photo of the day is supposed to be because I’m extra smart and forgot to every take a picture of the challenge for this purpose.

But it’s okay, because there’s always pictures to share.

I went to Loehmann’s today while I was running errands and found a few things in clearance that I liked and ALMOST bought. I almost bought them because they had different colored stickers that allegedly signified ‘take an extra x% off the clearance price’, however 2/3 of the associates I asked said they didn’t give you an extra % off, and they didn’t ring up extra off.

I’m still rather upset about this because I feel like it’s wrong. Don’t advertise your going to give me an extra % off if you’re actually not. I think I might go back tomorrow and further challenge this because it’s really bothering me. Plus, this Max Studio blouse I find is really cute and I want it for the alleged $20 with the alleged extra 40% off indicated by the blue sticker on the tag.

I was also going to get the tie-dye skirt in the back because it’s allegedly supposed to be like $8 and the tank in front of it $6.

I might email their customer service.
